Ernst & Young - opening of their new office premises

When Ernst & Young, leading firm of accountants, celebrated their 60th anniversary 2005 they decided to give special attention to Gunnar Nilsson’s Cancer Foundation in Helsingborg by asking their guests to donate money to the foundation’s giro instead of buying flowers and gifts. This grand gesture was much appreciated and the result was a large amount of money for cancer research.

In September 2007 Ernst & Young moved to their new office premises and on the invitation cards to the house-warming they once again mentioned Gunnar Nilsson’s Cancer Foundation and our donations giro account. This resulted in more money for cancer research and we are most grateful for Ernst & Young’s generous initiative.

We hope and believe that perhaps more companies and people will consider thinking in the same way as Ernst & Young!

Gunnar Nilsson's Cancer Foundation is supervised by the County Board and the collection of donations is controlled by the Foundation for collection control (SFI).
